Following the TELSIKS tradition, this year Organizing Committee prepared a variety of social events.

Welcome coctail

After Conference opening and plenary session followed by the performance of Oliver Njego, Serbian most known operatic baritone, TELSIKS Welcome Cocktail will be offered to all Conference participants, in the hall of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering.

Musical performance

All Conference participants will have the opportunity to attend musical performance which will be arranged in Concert hall of the Faculty of Arts.A concert of ethno, pop, rock, jazz , film and spiritual music  performed by the award -winning A Cappella group Constatine, will be followed by the performance of Oliver Njego. Oliver Njego is a Serbian operatic baritone, who also crossed over into popular music, eventually becoming one of the most respected and most famous Serbian opera singers. He has graduated from t the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade in the class of Professor Radmila Bakočević. He is the member of National Theatre in Belgrade opera department, where he performed in Gioachino Rossini's The Barber ofSeville, Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, and many other famous operas.

Sightseeing tour

Discover Niš's rich historical heritage in the anniversary year of the Edict of Milan with a guided sightseeing tour. A complimentary tour for all TELSIKS participants will be organized. This tour includes:

• Mediana
• Skull Tower
• Exhibition ’’Constantine the Great and Edict of Milan 313. – The birth of Christianity in the Roman Provinces on the territory of Serbia” at the Philip Morris company showroom. You will have unique opportunity to attend the exhibition dedicated to the jubilee - 17 centuries of the proclamation of the Edict of Milan, a legal document which put a historical end to the three centuries-long persecution of Christians and ensured “the authority of every person to profess the religion that he or she preferred”. Unique portrait of Constantine the Great and 180 artifacts from I to IV century AD will be presented.

All TELSIKS participants who are interested in this tour should sign in at the Registration desk on Wednesday, October 16. The tour is on "first come, first served" basis.

Conference Gala Dinner
Thursday, October 17, 2013, 20:30
A Conference Gala Dinner hosted by the hotel ‘Vidikovac’ will be offered to all registered participants. Information about departure will be available at TELSIKS 2013 registration desk. The participants will enjoy fine cuisine, good beverages and the music from the Balkans and all time international hits performed by the famous domestic musical ensemble ‘Groš’.
