CATEGORIES OF PAPERS

Two categories of contributions are eligible for presentation at the Conference: scientific and application oriented papers.

PAPERS PREPARING

When preparing your manuscript, please pay also attention to the following:

(1) Original, previously unpublished papers with scientific and technical contributions, are expected.
(2) All submitted papers will be checked for plagiarism through the IEEE CrossCheck system. 
(3) All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of four (4) printed pages including figures for regular papers and ten (10) printed pages including figures for invited papers.
(4) Manuscripts have to be prepared according to the instruction available at TELSIKS '17 official conference web page: InstructionsForAuthors.doc.

All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed and authors will be informed about the decision of the Technical Program Committee by July 15, 2017.

Only accepted and presented papers will be published in the TELSIKS '17 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE XploreŽ.

PAPERS SUBMISSION

All papers must be submitted electronically in both Microsoft Word 2003/2010 and PDF format adhering to the guidelines (InstructionsForAuthors.doc) no later than May 31, 2017.

To submit the paper, you need to create an account by choosing a Sign up in the top menu. When you create an account you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ID and the password.

Please use these information to Sign in and submit a paper by choosing an option Submit a new paper.

Before uploading the paper, you will be asked to fill out the following:

(1) Title of the paper
(2) Abstract (optional)
(3) Topic number which seems the most appropriate to the paper (see Conference Topics section)
(4) Add authors (author's e-mail; if the author is not registered you will be asked to add his name and affiliation)
After submission you will see an automated notification in the browser that your submission was successful. As well, you will receive an e-mail with a paper ID for future correspondence.

PAPER PRESENTATION 

Papers will be presented in oral and poster sessions. Authors are asked to suggest the form of presentation, while the Organizing Committee will make the final decision.

• Authors who will present the papers (orally or by poster) are kindly requested to contact their session chairmen 10 minutes before the beginning of the session. In this way, the authors will contribute to well organization of sessions.

• Papers should be presented only by the authors.

ORAL PRESENTATION

• The time for the presentation of the invited keynote papers including discussion is limited to 20 minutes.

• The time for the oral presentation of the regular papers including discussion is limited to 15 minutes. 

• Overhead and video-beam projectors will be at disposal during the presentation.

POSTER PRESENTATION

• For poster presentation, a 1mX1mboard will be provided. 

• The Secretariat will provide the pins or tape for poster mounting. 

• Posters should be legible from a distance of 1-2 meters. 

• The recommended font sizes are: 30-40 mm for title, 20-30 mm for names of authors, 15-20 mm for headings and 10-15 mm for text. 

• Clarity and brevity are very appreciated. 

• Authors are requested to set up their posters well in advance of the starting session time and must be present throughout the whole session.
